Brian Michael joined Integrated Web Strategy in September of 2006, and was baptized by the fire of the 2006 election season. His responsibilities include client management, business development, and implementing business best practices. Prior to IWS, Brian's services were employed by Mindshare Interactive Campaigns. As an account manager, he worked with corporations, associations, non-profit organization to leverage the communication opportunities created by technology. Besides working with various clients, Brian also conducted research in the deliverability and spam classifications of emails sent by presidential campaigns and advocacy organizations. His papers have been featured on Personal Democracy Forum and presented at the 2005 Politics Online Conference in Washington, DC. Foreign policy think-tanks in Washington and law firms in Philadelphia also dot Brian's employment record. Brian graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Political Science and a Legal Studies and History minor. Just before joining the IWS team, Brian completed his masters' degree in Comparative Politics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Brian now resides in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, DC. In his free time, Brian enjoys playing lacrosse and blogging about his hometown baseball club, the Philadelphia Phillies.
